The European Innovation Incubator is a 3-week virtual program for innovative dApps, projects and Web3 startups across Europe. The incubator started on 21st November with more than 520 dApps and projects from across the European Continent participating in the event. The event’s theme is innovation with dApps making strides in AI robotics, scientific sourcing, IP management, hospital data application, and more. After 3 rounds of review, 31 finalists were selected for this incubator and invited to the exclusive meetup events successfully held in Lisbon, Paris, London, Berlin, Milan, Barcelona, and Warsaw.

Winners of the European Innovation Incubator

Startups presented their dApps on Demo Day with BNB Chain, partners and sponsors selecting and announcing the winners on 15th December 2022. The panel scoring the winners included Binance Labs, Binance Research, BNB Chain team, Polkastarter, Salus Security, Worldpay, MH Ventures and other partners.

The 8 winners selected from Demo Day will receive prize money, the opportunity to get a one-month 100% gas fee incentive, and a strong referral to Season 6 of BNB Chain's Most Valuable Builder (MVB). All selected projects of this incubator will receive continuous strong support from the BNB Chain team.

Winner

Wallchain

Wallchain is the official winner of the first edition of the European Innovation Incubator. Wallchain gives Web3 users cashback when they trade on exchanges like Uniswap. The cashback dApp founded by a team of veteran FAANG engineers has processed over $1B for clients on BNB Chain and other blockchains. By breaking free the network from MEV bots, Wallchain reduces gas prices and positively impacts climate change.

2nd Prize

Cashmere Labs

Cashmere Labs came in joint-second position in the European Innovation Incubator. Cashmere is an omnichain interoperability MEV Protected DEX aggregator and stableswap on LayerZero Labs. Swap any asset between any chain without bridging. Cashmere Labs uses Single-Side AMM for stableswap to swap stablecoins with very low slippages.

Blockless

Blockless also finished in joint-second position in the European Innovation Incubator. Blockless is a Web3 developer solution platform powered by a WASM-based customizable execution network. It provides end-to-end solutions such as zkWASM prover as a service and smart contract owned, decentralized and dynamic web hosting. Blockless helps build dApps such as oracles, NFT platforms, and Web3 Indexers with scalability, flexibility, and reliability.

3rd Prize

Cora Protocol

Cora Protocol shares third place with 4 other dApps in the European Innovation Incubator. Cora is a decentralized lending platform that allows users to borrow stablecoins for a fixed period and only pay a one-time borrowing fee without the risk of being liquidated. Borrowers, stakers, and liquidity providers can earn tokens on Cora Protocol.

Vyper Protocol

Anyone can create on-chain derivatives in minutes with Vyper Protocol. The infrastructure manages the creation, trading, and on-chain settlement of any type of derivative in a fully permissionless way. Vyper's innovative approach creates a common infrastructure for on-chain derivatives, increasing scalability and greatly reducing costs.

AltLayer

AltLayer is a system of highly scalable application-dedicated execution layers that derive security from an underlying L1/L2. It is designed as a modular and pluggable framework for a multi-chain and multi-VM world. AltLayer also provides flash layers for NFT mint events across multi-chains with no gas war and a very short time-to-set-up.

RealFevr

RealFevr is a Portuguese Web3 startup building an ambitious ecosystem around licensed sports digital collectibles and video games. RealFevr is a fantasy football app with more than 2.5M downloads, 1.2M registered users and covers the Top 5 European Leagues: the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Liga Portugal Bwin.

Mummy

Mummy is an immersive cutting-edge MMORPG game that brings forgotten mythology from ancient Egypt to life. Players can embark on quests, decipher puzzles, play games, wield enchanted weapons and more in an open-world game powered by Unreal Engine 5. Players can play and earn MMY tokens and NFTs which can be staked for more rewards.
