Cryptstocks is an early-stage project offering on-chain subscription services, built on the standard OpenZeppelin Transparent Proxy architecture. While the main business contracts are verified on-chain (Proxy: 0x84B1C8890D1116530fb38047e2d9FEC3098858a0, Implementation: 0xB9fC4DB432e55Fa4112Ea8Fe52eba0b86da49A95, PriceFeed: 0xD9BEbc5475EaDbd0B34F53cA9104D3040b05c5AE), the critical Access Control Manager (ACM) contract (0x578661E9A09Eee6b2cd97D4Ded1CCBaE7B8516B9) that all contracts depend on remains unverified, making it impossible to audit who holds Admin and Signer privileges or how permissions are granted and modified. This means that while the business logic is transparent (80% of user payments are locked and can be withdrawn after 48 hours, 15% goes to fees, 5% is burned), the identity and number of individuals actually controlling these functions are completely opaque. The ACM contract controls price update rights (affecting the amount of tokens users must pay), parameter modification rights (allowing subscription price adjustments), creating a situation of "transparent machinery with opaque operators."
