Supra as an “IntraLayer” is a powerful framework that brings our solutions together - oracles, VRFs, and a native cross-chain protocol through a singular shared-security infrastructure. Supra’s Distributed Verifiable Random Function (DVRF) solution provides unbiased, unpredictable, and provably fair random number generation for blockchain gaming and casinoFi use-cases such as loot boxes, NFT-minting, character upgrades, odds-based games, and on-chain lotteries. This allows gameFi smart contract developers to easily power their dapps with on-chain publicly verifiable randomness through a simple smart contract interface. Developers can request up to 255 random numbers in a single request for high-volume use-cases. They can also configure the number of block confirmations to wait before the VRF service responds, to receive a response quickly, or to introduce intentional latency, or to improve security.
