Octan Network aims to build an innovative Reputation Ranking System (RRS) based on improved PageRank and pairwise ranking algorithms. Octan RRS is the 1st of its kind, computes reputation scores from on-chain transactions to establish trustworthy identities in Web3 space. Recently, building reputation in Web3 is a significant problem, attracting many Web3 developers and builders. Octan is uniquely distinguished from other projects whose reputation is fed from conventional and legacy sources (e.g. activities on Web2 social platforms, traditional credit score). Octan Reputation is reliable by on-chain data and well-proven mathematical ranking algorithms. It provides the best quantitative measurement to qualify and classify user accounts as well as Dapps.
