EPHYRA

The EPHYRA project aims to establish a new paradigm for Non-Player Agents (NPAs) in interactive entertainment through its core EPHYRA Cognitive Architecture (ECA). This architecture integrates a layered memory system, a computational emotion model, and a deliberative planner, and it utilizes a Large Language Model (LLM) conditioned on the agent's complete cognitive state to generate dynamic dialogue. We are dedicated to transforming NPAs from pre-scripted executors into autonomous agents possessing intrinsic motivation and contextual memory. This enables the emergence of dynamic narratives and the creation of truly evolving virtual worlds, providing the technical cornerstone for deeply immersive experiences.
